MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A swirl of low pressure over the Okefenokee region has helped to lower the overall rain chances for the evening in our local area. The seabreeze is present near the Big Bend coast, and a few isolated showers or a storm are possible along and south of that boundary. Also, a few quick-moving showers are possible with the low-pressure system along and east of Interstate 75. Later tonight, scattered clouds and areas of clear sky are expected with lows in the mid 70s. The wind flow begins a slow transition back to the west and then southwest by late tomorrow, but not before highs climb back into the mid and some upper 90s. Showers and storms will be limited to the seabreeze and peak heating by mid-afternoon. An emerging cold front into the Deep South later this week brings the potential for additional showers and storms, and a slight decrease in temperatures.
