MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The air around us is still slightly drier than usual, and that’s helping to limit the development of late-day showers. A couple more may pop up across some eastern sections near and east of I-75, and perhaps an isolated interior shower between now and 9 p.m., but overall coverage will remain short of 20% of the area. Lows will drop to around 70° overnight with a clearer sky in most locations. We’ll stretch generally dry conditions into Tuesday, with the exception of the Big Bend coast, where a few more spots of rain or storms may form along with the seabreeze. Highs will be in the low to middle 90s regionwide. Moisture increases by midweek, and it clashes with an approaching front from the north, so there’s a better chance for more showers and storms by Wednesday. There are no big worries in the tropics in the next several days ahead.
