MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Spotty thunderstorms have been focused in the Big Bend, between the coast and Interstate 10, with isolated pop-up showers or storms north of that corridor. Areas of rain will drift to the south, then dissipate soon after sunset. Further clearing will occur overnight, leading to lows around 70°. Winds Tuesday will be from the west and southwest; this may reduce highs by a degree in some cases, but most will experience above-average readings in the low 90s coast to mid 90s inland. Showers and storms will be scattered again, but may make more of a push toward the state line by late-afternoon. Similar to last week, there won't be many features entering the pattern that will create drastic change, so more hot conditions with few late-day thunderstorms are projected through this week.
