MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Areas of clouds will persist through most of Tuesday, but the coverage of rain won't be as broad.  Heaviest rain activity will be confined to the westernmost parts of the region, near the Apalachicola River, where showers and rain will be steady and can accumulate to a couple of inches by the end of the day Tuesday.  Areas near the Suwannee River will encounter passing lighter showers with lesser totals.  Overall, sunshine will be limited before clouds break further by midweek.  Excessive moisture levels will keep lows tonight to around 70°, and highs capped between 75° and 80° Tuesday afternoon.  A continued mild pattern sticks around for most of the week, with an infusion of dry air allowing morning temperatures to be seasonably cool later this week, while afternoons will stay on the warm side.
