TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) -- There are currently two low pressure systems to watch that are bringing wet and stormy weather to the region tonight though tomorrow morning. The first is sitting close to the Florida panhandle. This low is enforcing our southerly wind flow as a small warm front is moving toward Georgia. Along this warm front boundary will be the best place to see severe thunderstorms through the night into tomorrow. The second low pressure system is sitting in the Texas Gulf Coast, but is expected to pick up speed and bring us a second round of rain and thunderstorms Tuesday morning ahead of a weak cold front.
Tonight, the thunderstorms will continue with a handful of them becoming severe. Overnight lows will hold steady near 70 degrees. Tuesday morning, the storms and wet weather continue. Just like tonight, there is a chance that some thunderstorms will become severe. As we head in to the lunch hour and after, the previously mentioned cold front will cross the region, dropping our rain chances and leave us with sunnier skies.
