TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Hot conditions persist through the holiday with temps in the upper 60s and low 70s this morning. Temps will spike to the mid 90s this afternoon with a few isolated cooling storms possible, but most stay dry. High pressure in the northeast Gulf keeps our skies relatively clear early on, but with all the heat, clouds will quickly build for the second half of the day. PM storm chances slowly increase during the midweek and beyond as the area of high pressure pushes south and east allowing for the atmosphere to weaken and a few more sea breeze storms to fire up. Temps still remain steamy ranging from 70° in the morning to the mid 90s in the afternoon. Low 90s return for the weekend.
