TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The big chill is back after this weekend's wet weather. Temps in the mid to upper 30s are likely this morning. A slight breeze sticks with us throughout Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but plenty of sunshine should get highs back to the mid 50s. Freeze warnings are in effect overnight with temps diving to right around 30°. Check in on the 3P's: People, Pets and Plants. Mid 50s are likely again in the afternoon before the bottom drops out heading into midweek. Temps in the upper 20s are likely due to an expansive area of high pressure sticking around the southeast allowing for clear skies and quiet conditions. Low 60s return by Wednesday afternoon. Upper 60s are back for Thursday as winds turn from the open Gulf waters. Another round of storms move in to end the work week with mild air in the mid 60s. That system quickly clears out and we're left with a relatively mild weekend in the upper 50s Saturday to mid 60s Sunday.
