TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Quieter conditions setting up heading into the upcoming weekend. A building high over the southeast will clear the skies out allowing for the sunshine to boost temps above average to right around 90° for a high after starting out the morning in the low 70s. Low to mid 90s can be expected this weekend as the northeasterly flow slacks off a bit more. Overnight temps will be comfortable dipping into the upper 60s and low 70s. By next week, we'll fire up a few isolated storms on Monday as the high pressure weakens and a cold front approaches the region. Expect scattered storms for midweek and beyond with temps backing off to the upper 80s and low 90s. So, summer seems to be alive and well in the extended outlook, despite Fall officially starting next Wednesday.
