TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Storms beginning to increase in aerial coverage starting later this afternoon into the evening. That's courtesy of more of a breeze coming off the coastline to stir up the atmosphere a little bit more. Couple that with an incoming trough digging into the southeast, and we're calling for higher rain chances heading into the weekend and next week. Because these are later in the day, the sun can do its work early on still pumping up the temps into the mid and even upper 90s, especially if you don't get in on the scattered rain action. Conditions tonight stay muggy in the mid 70s again. This pattern will remain persistent heading into next week with about a 40-50% coverage of slow-moving storms while temps remain sticky in the mid 90s for the most part.
