Grab your rain gear before you head out the door today! Heavy rain will move through this afternoon with a few thunderstorms. One or two of them could be on the severe side, wind and heavy rain are the two main factors. Some places may see 1”-1.5” of rain as the showers move west to east. Temperatures will range in the low to mid 70’s. Showers and thunderstorms will move through the area late tonight through Saturday. Showers should wrap up Saturday afternoon and evening as the cold front continues to pass through. Sunny skies and dry conditions return on Sunday with temps in the mid 70’s. This dry stretch looks like it will stay with us till at least Wednesday. Temperatures will also be on the rise, the 80’s are coming back in the forecast beginning on Tuesday!
