Storm Team Friday morning forecast (1/18/2013)

Posted

With the cold front finally out of the way seasonal temperatures will show up for the upcoming days. High pressure is coming into place bringing with it clearer skies and temperatures in the mid 60s and lows in the mid to upper 30s. This will bring nice relief from the warm winter that has been in place for the past couple of weeks. Winds will stay on the higher side today, 10-15 mph out of the north/northeast with occasional gusts near 25 mph. The wind will relax by the end of today but remember there’s a chill in the air this morning; don’t forget to take that jacket. Highs and lows will experience a slight dip on Tuesday with another cold shot of air racing south. Highs will have a hard time jumping into the mid 50s with lows flirting with freezing. Rain will be hard to come by as dry air dominates our area through at least the middle of next week.
