TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Severe weather threat is diminishing, but not completely out of the question this morning as a cold front passes through the region. Rain is expected to clear by early this afternoon with highs in the low to mid 60s today. With the passage of the cold front temperatures will become colder with lows tonight reaching the upper 30s. The rest of the weekend is expected to be on the cool with no rain coverage and highs reaching the upper 40s for Saturday with mostly cloudy skies and breezy conditions and then the skies clear out and we quiet down with higsh around 60° for Sunday. A light freeze is also possible Sunday morning with lows reaching the lower 30s. A warming trend is expected to start Monday as high pressure moves in from the southeast. Highs for Monday will be in the upper 60s and Tuesday in the lower 70s. By Tuesday and Wednesday rain coverage increases slightly as the next frontal system approaches.
