MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Cool and dry air has returned, but only temporarily as an approaching storm system will help bring the warmth, humidity, and rainfall to our area soon after.
After starting off the day with temperatures in the upper 30s to mid 40s, expect afternoon temperatures to rebound to 70 degrees with mainly clear skies. Saturday will start off with a similar chilly feel, with numbers in the lower 40s with highs back near 70 degrees. The difference between Saturday and Friday will be the return of cloud cover by then, signalling an increase in moisture.
Sunday into Tuesday, winds will return out of the south, allowing morning lows to rebound back near 60 degrees to start the new work week. Daytime highs will approach the mid to upper 70s. Rainfall will progressively become a threat through this period, starting off with isolated coverage on Sunday (30%), growing to become more scattered and widespread (50-60%) for Monday and Tuesday. Heavy rain looks possible, with occasional storminess by then.
