Storm Team Friday morning forecast (1/25/2013)

and last updated

All’s quiet in the Capital City today as a weak front prepares to meander through, bringing with it, less than noticeable weather. We look to stay warmer than seasonal today with highs in the lower 70s and a touch of humidity in the air. Clouds will pepper the sky and increase as the sun goes down keeping our overnight lows from falling too far. Expect to see lows flirt with the high 40s. Winds will stay calm, 5-10 mph out of the South and slowly shift into a West wind. Isolated showers are possible late tonight and very early Saturday when that front crawls through. The air behind the front is only slightly cooler; highs Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid and upper 60s. Our computer guidance continues to paint on a more robust front bringing a line of showers and thunderstorms through on Wednesday. There’s still plenty of time to iron out long term details but stay tuned!
