MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- The work week started off nice and warm, and the week will end similar to how it started, with more clouds and likely even more warmth. A front moves in Saturday night, increasing shower and thunderstorm activity for Sunday.
Friday afternoon highs will range in the low to mid 80s all along the region, with the exception of the Big Bend coast, with the ocean breeze, keeping things cool. Saturday lows will range in the lower 60s with cloud cover on the rise. The clouds stick around for the afternoon on Saturday but highs are still expection to be similar to Friday's numbers.
Into Saturday night and Sunday morning, the rain likely begins. Thunderstorms will be possible but the severe threat looks very minimal at this point in time. No notable cool down after the front is expected, but lows will drop back to the 50s.
