TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Like yesterday, there is another cold front situated to our west. This time, however, we'll see and feel the effects of it as it nears and then passes the region later tonight.
Friday morning started out with pockets of dense fog, but as the sun is warms up the ground, the fog will burn off and mix away. Winds are expected to be light throughout the day from the south to southwest direction. Skies will be partly cloudy for most of us with highs near 80 degrees. There is a very small chance (less than 20%) of seeing an isolated, pop-up shower this afternoon and evening as the front moves over the area. Any shower that is seen today will be short lived and light in nature, though most of us will remain dry. Tonight, skies will stay partly cloudy with lows dropping close to 50 degrees. winds will be fairly light, southwest at 5 mph.
The weekend will feel nice thanks to the previously mentioned cold front. Highs for Saturday and Sunday look to be in the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies. Weekend lows will be cooler, in the 40s.
