TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A weak cold front will try to push across the area today, bringing with it chances of scattered showers, and maybe even a pop-up thunderstorm. The best chance of this happening will be in the first half of the day.
Today, highs will top off close to 80 degrees like we felt yesterday. As previously mentioned, there is a small chance of scattered showers in the first part of the day with an even smaller chance of a pop-up thunderstorm. Otherwise, skies will be mostly cloudy and try to clear throughout the day to partly cloudy conditions.
Tonight's lows will be a little chilly with temperatures falling to the upper 40s with a light north to northwest winds. Skies will be partly cloudy for the overnight hours with slight clearing into the morning.
Saturday looks to be a few degrees cooler, warming to the upper 70s thanks to the previously mentioned cold front. Rain is not expected to be in the forecast, but that will change on Sunday with a 60 percent rain chance. Thunderstorms are not expected, but the rain will be more widespread than what we see Today. Sunday's highs will be even cooler with temperatures in the lower 70s.
