TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The hot trend still dominates the near term of the forecast. Temps climb back into the low 90s to end your work week after a mild start in the mid 60s. High pressure reigns supreme really limiting the amount of clouds we'll see these next couple of days. Tonight, winds become calm and some patchy fog could spill onto the roads once again. Lows bottoming out in the low to mid 60s. Expect a similar pattern through the end of the weekend, making it a great set of days to head to the coastline. By next week, we're still muggy and hot in the low 90s for highs but an incoming cold front will allow for one or two showers on Monday and then widespread storminess on Tuesday. Up to an inch of new rainfall is possible with isolated heavier spots. On the back end of the cold front, fall will return with dry and cool conditions expected. Highs will struggle to get to 80° and lows will drop back into the 50s.
