TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A weak cold front passed through much of the area last night bringing light northerly winds to us. This means our daytime highs will be a little cooler than what we felt Thursday. A high pressure over North Carolina will continue building closer to our region throughout the day, meaning we'll stay dry not only for Friday, but also through the holiday weekend.
Today, skies will try to clear out for mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions. Winds remain light from the northeast. Daytime highs will peak near 70 degrees, with upper 60s further inland. Tonight, lows drop to the lower and mid 50s with calm winds. A few clouds may try to move back in the area, but that's about it. The weekend is expected to stay mostly sunny to partly cloudy with dry and warm conditions.
This holiday weekend looks to stay mostly sunny with a few passing clouds. Highs will peak in the upper 70s for both Saturday and Sunday. Cloudier conditions and pop-up showers may try to return next week.
