The heat will be on for this weekend, so find a way to stay cool! High temps will soar to the mid-upper 90’s this afternoon. We could see a few rain showers and isolated thunderstorms. Saturday will be partly sunny, with increasing clouds and afternoon showers and thunderstorms. High temps are expected to hit 96! As a high pressure system in the western Gulf of Mexico breaks down by the end of the weekend, shower activity will begin to pick up. Monday, looks mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of rain and thunderstorms and a high of 93. Tuesday will be much of the same. Cloudy skies will take over on Wednesday and Thursday with rain, thunderstorms and high temps around 90 degrees.
