MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) --A hot and humid day is in store for this Friday as northeast winds off of Tropical Storm Julia help to heat up the surface. While it will be humid, the drier winds from the northeast will help to limit rainfall today, with coverage only around 20% or less. The highest chance for rain will be south and southeast, especially along the coast. Temperatures in the afternoon, are expected to be hot, with highs in the lower 90s due to the ample amounts of sunshine expected.
For the weekend, the forecast is similar, with more highs in the lower 90s, and rainfall coverage widely isolated, only around 20-30%.
