Storm Team Friday morning forecast (07/08/2016)

Posted

TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - High pressure building over the Gulf will keep skies relatively clear and will allow for a heat dome to set up with temps nearing record highs in the upper 90s and low 100s for actual air temps and "feels-like" temps will soar to around 105-110° this afternoon. Stay hydrated and cool for the next couple days, because this pattern sticks with us through the weekend. Overnight lows will be uncomfortably warm in the mid 70s.  Only an isolated storm is possible through Sunday. Next week, we'll hold onto low and mid 70s overnight but daytime highs will only get into the mid 90s as an approaching cold front into the Mississippi River Valley sparks off more clouds and more scattered storm chances, but those temps are still above average for this time of year.
