TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- High pressure will dominate today so it will be seasonable and hot with highs reaching the lower 90s. Overnight will be calm with temperatures dipping into the upper 60s. For the holiday weekend a calm pattern is in store with 20% coverage for rain and highs for Saturday and Sunday reaching the lower 90s. A tropical wave that has an 80% chance of formation into a tropical cyclone isn't expected to hit us directly but could provide some moisture to towards the beginning of the work week. Rain coverage will be between 20%-30% for Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures in the mid 90s. By late next week there is a 30% coverage for rain and hot conditions still prevailing with afternoon temperatures reaching the mid 90s.
