TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Rain is going to be the main story for the day. The temperatures will slowly be climbing from low to mid 60s. The rain will be heaviest in the morning hours and progressively get lighter as the day passes. We could see several thunderstorms as well, a couple may be strong or severe especially for our coastal communities. High wind gusts are the main concern. If any storms turn severe, tune into channel 27.3 Comcast 210 for further updates. There is the chance for a few isolated showers Saturday morning as the system passes through. Temps will be cooling off slightly for the weekend. Saturday kicks off in the low 50s and will only reach the upper 50s. Sunday is going to be more seasonable, upper 30s in the morning but mid 60s by the afternoon. Next week the seasonable conditions will return, the lows will be back in the 30s and highs in the 60s. High pressure will dominate the region leaving the area with clear, sunny skies. There is even the potential for some areas to be near freezing by Thursday morning.
