Posted

TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another clear, calm morning on this Friday. Temperatures will be heating once again to the low 90s. High pressure continues to dominate the region bringing in the dryer air. Subtropical storm Ana has officially formed but the only way that it is impacting the weather for the region is by ushering in warmer air from the Northwest. This system combined with the high pressure allow the mornings to be cool and afternoons to heat up. Small rain coverage (< 20%) heading into Mother's Day weekend, the hot temperatures also stick around. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s and lows will be in the low to mid 60s. The heat continues into the work week, with highs in the low 90s. The rain coverage will increase slightly for the end of the next work week.
