TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - We'll end the work week on a very similar note to what we saw yesterday. Temps in the low to mid 50s this morning and by this afternoon we'll get all the way near 90°. A sweeping cold front overnight will actually pull back our high temps heading into the weekend while keeping our overnight temps cool as well. Expect 50s as you get your Saturday started for the FAMU homecoming festivities and FSU tailgating. By the afternoon, however, temps will only get near 80° for highs--nearly a 10° drop to what we're seeing today! By Sunday, temps only get into the mid 70s. Expect that trend to end the weekend. Upper 70s for early next week. Expect a slow moderating trend to back near average with temps creeping back above 80°. Slim rain chances are possible by next midweek as high pressure pushes east, and winds turn off the Atlantic shoreline.
