Storm Team Friday morning forecast (10/02/2015)

TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The summery air mass is gone and now we're left with cooler, albeit, still rather cloudy conditions. A few scattered showers are possible throughout your Friday, but nothing widespread, and nothing heavy is expected. This will put a cap on how high temps can climb. Wrap around moisture from a stagnant low near the southeast Georgia coast will continue to wrap around moisture into the weekend allowing an overall cloudy pattern. Temps this morning are in the low 70s and upper 60s and by this afternoon, temps will be around 10° cooler than yesterday, only getting into the upper 70s. Expect a similar set up for the weekend with cooler overnight temps dipping into the mid 60s and daytime highs locked in the 70s. As the low breaks apart by early next work week, a clearing high pressure system builds into the southeast allowing for more sunshine and allowing for a wider temperature spread--cooler numbers in the morning and warmer temps in the afternoon. We'll get near 60° for the start of the work week and experience highs in the low 80s. Expect mid 80s by next midweek with the dry trend still sticking around.
