MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- This is the day we'll see a cold front passage moving through the local area. This front is not expected to bring any rain with it, but cloud cover will increase significantly early on in the morning before a gradual clearing trend heading into the afternoon. Winds will shift from the north/northwest by the afternoon. The cloud cover and north winds after that, will prevent temperatures from rising as high as they have the last several days. Expect afternoon highs to be right around 80° with low temperatures into Saturday morning drop to around 50°.
The weekend will feature daytime highs in the mid 70s and lows dropping to the mid 40s. Clear skies will continue through the weekend.
By the new work week a slow warming trend is expected, but mornings will still be chilly with temperatures in the 50s and daytime highs in the lower 80s.
