MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- After the early rain, clearing will be underway, allowing for partly cloudy conditions this Friday. The weekend will be rather pleasant with ample sunshine and warmth. After that, another disturbance will approach the local area, making Monday a wet day.

Friday: By sunrise, most of the rain activity will have pushed in to the eastern Big Bend, with skies getting clearer toward the afternoon. Lows are in the mid 60s to start, with afternoon highs forecast to be in the lower to mid 80s later this afternoon.

Beach and Boating forecast information is below:

Tide Times for Friday are also below:

Saturday and Sunday: High pressure will be in control, clearing our skies. Both days are expected to be pleasant, with drier air making mornings cool with afternoons on the hot side. Both days will see lows in the lower 50s with highs in the mid to upper 80s. No rain is expected.

Monday: A developing low pressure system over the Gulf Coast will approach Florida and Georgia by Monday. This system is shown to increase rain coverage significantly Monday afternoon with coverage at or above 60%.

At this point, severe weather is possible, but it is too soon to determine specifics. Lows are forecast to be in the 60s with highs near 80°.

Tuesday: Lingering rain will leave the area quickly with lows near 60° and highs in the mid 80s. Skies will be partly cloudy.

Wednesday into Thursday: Morning lows look to fall to near 60° with highs in the mid 80s Wednesday. Rain coverage is expected to grow again as another batch of disturbed weather approaches. Rain coverage for Wednesday is at 20% and Thursday, at 40%.
