Building high pressure will take control over the southeast today, keeping skies mostly sunny and allowing this morning’s 30’s to warm to the mid 60’s by this afternoon. Easterly flow off the high pressure system will increase humidity levels today and tomorrow, with an approaching cold front stalling out just to the east of the forecast area. This set-up will increase rain chances very slightly Saturday night, with a 30% chance of showers arriving on Sunday. High temperatures will rebound to the mid to high 70’s over the weekend. The pattern will remain warm and unsettled through the middle of next week, with slight rain chances (around 30%) each day and highs in the 70’s. Low temperatures will also remain above average, hovering in the high 40’s and mid 50’s.
