TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - A much milder start than we've seen all week with temps in the 40s and 50s this morning. A cold front is moving through the region which will clear the skies out heading into the later morning hours and this afternoon. Winds will turn from the north and northwest ushering in cooler, drier air so expect temps to only get into the low 60s for highs. A mostly dry weekend is shaping up as well with pleasant conditions. It'll be cool waking up Saturday morning with numbers in the low to mid 30s again, but high pressure overhead will quickly boost temps in the afternoon into the mid 60s. Sunday will be slightly cool heading to church with temps in the low 40s with highs getting into the upper 60s as winds turn off the Gulf. A few late day showers are possible especially for our western counties. Everyone gets in on periods of rainfall overnight into the start of the work week and expect that front to pass by through the day with lingering showers for our far eastern counties. Conditions will be muggy with temps ranging from the mid 50s to the low 60s. Another cold high pressure system sets up with temps in the mid 30s by Tuesday morning and highs staying mainly in the upper 50s and near 60° by the afternoon. By Wednesday we're watching another storm system advance from the Gulf of Mexico ushering in rain chances throughout midweek and Thursday. Temps will be warmer as we usher in moisture from the Gulf with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
