TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another cool start with temps in the upper 30s and low 40s with wind chills dipping into the mid 30s. Expect that gentle breeze to stick with us from the northwest allowing cooler than average air to spill into the region for the next few days. Temps only skim 60° this afternoon. High pressure will continue to build into the southeast US and that'll allow the winds to ease up and will turn off the faucet of chilly air moving into the region. So despite low to mid 30s through Sunday morning, afternoon highs will rebound to the mid 60s by tomorrow and low 70s by Sunday. A stray shower is possible with a stalled out frontal system advancing into the Deep South as temps rebound into the mid 70s. Upper 70s are expected for Tuesday before another, more rapidly-developing system moves into the region which will spring up scattered showers and storms. Temps get to near 70° before dipping to the low to mid 60s on the back end of the cold front.
