MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Dry air will stay overhead heading into the early part of the weekend as high pressure stays in control. Afternoon highs Friday are expected to be in the low to mid 90s across the board. It is expected to be breezy again, adding a slight cool and comfortable feel, especially closer toward sunset. Rain coverage is very minimal, at less than 20%. Lows on Saturday morning are forecast to range in the lower 70s to mid 70s, with a few spots starting off in the upper 60s. After Saturday, more rain may work its way in the picture as winds return more so from the east (Rain coverage at 20-30% through Sunday). Highs then are still expected to reach the mid 90s.
The extended outlook is still very unclear, due to the tropical disturbance near Cuba. Regardless of strength, its position this weekend will help determine how much rain we can see next week. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
