Storm Team Friday Morning Forecast (11/22/13)

Posted

High pressure will slide down off the coast of the Carolina's today and slowly start to weaken. With some ridging still in place over the Southeast, we should continue to see partly sunny skies, and have a slight chance for passing showers. High temps today will also be above average and around 79 degrees. The warm-up stays with us through Saturday, and then we have a passing cold front Saturday night that will change things up a bit. Sunday morning we may still have a light shower, but our morning lows will be chilly in the mid 40’s and even though we will have mostly sunny skies, our high temp will only reach 61. Monday morning looks like it will be the coldest for us, with our lows dropping into the low to mid 30’s.  We’ll have mostly sunny skies with a high of 63 in the afternoon, along with some increasing clouds. A cut off low in the western Gulf of Mexico will pump some moisture into our region on Tuesday with a few thunderstorms, keeping our high temps around 67 degrees. Showers may last into Wednesday morning and early afternoon then clear out in the afternoon. Thanksgiving looks mostly sunny with a high of 64!

Have a great weekend!
