Friday starts with lingering clouds and light drizzle after Thursday’s rain. Some of you see fewer clouds than others this morning; those spots will have temperatures further into the 30s while the cloud covered areas stay closer to 40°. This afternoon skies will be partly to mostly sunny with pleasant highs in the low 60s. The weekend will be a split decision; Saturday we start in the 30s before jumping into the low 60s with partly sunny skies. Scattered showers arrive late Saturday night and last through much of Sunday. The latter part of the weekend has the potential to be a repeat of Thursday but at this point, the rain chance is higher in the eastern big bend; severe weather is not a concern. We’ll get a break with pleasant weather Monday and much of Tuesday before another round of showers and storms Tuesday night through Wednesday. It’s too early to judge the severe threat for early next week, but stay tuned and have a great weekend!
