A summer-like pattern is in place in north Florida and south Georgia. Morning temperatures from the coast and inland are in the low 70s. Highs will be in the low 90s again, with partly sunny skies. It's starting to feel like summer, with a 30% chance of afternoon storms popping up and moving inland with the sea breeze. These showers will affect inland portions of north Florida and south Georgia in the late afternoon to early evening hours. After sunset, the rain will fizzle out as quickly as it will move in. Overnight lows for the next seven days will remain in the lower 70s, with highs in the lower 90s. Off and on storms will be possible each afternoon. Sunday will have a 40% chance of rain, as a weak cold front approaches our area. These rain chances are slightly higher, but should not deter outdoor plans, as long as the shower is not accompanied by lightning. When it is not raining, the sun will be shining at full blast, so don't forget the sunblock this weekend and be prepared to sweat!
