Storm Team Friday morning forecast (4/26/2013)

and last updated

Dry air has taken control of the area giving us a pleasant start to the day in the 50s. Skies will stay mostly clear of cloudiness through the evening with highs in the low and middle 80s. Another thing the dry air does, it kills the humidity, comfort weather will rule right through sunset. Come out to Thomasville at 7:00pm; the news team will be walking in the rose parade and I promise the weather will not disappoint. We start with a walking temperature of 81° at 7 but temperatures will quickly fall into the 60s and 70s as the sun gets lower on the horizon. Saturday is shaping up to be a decent weather day in itself with mostly sunny skies, highs in the low 80s and just a stray shower near the tri state area in the afternoon. Sunday, we break down perfection a bit. Scattered thunderstorms will pop in the afternoon, especially North of I-10. Warm and muggy air will also return with highs in the 80s. We'll keep a chance at afternoon storms in the forecast through the middle of next week; meanwhile highs stay in the low 80s with lows near 60°.

Have a great Friday and I hope to see you in Thomasville tonight!
