As yesterday’s rain making, low pressure system moves off to dump snow on New England, dry air moves into the tri-state area. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy this morning with patchy fog. However, clouds will break a bit more this afternoon bringing highs into the upper 60s and low 70s. Light winds remain out the Northwest the entire day. Another weak front will walk through the Southeast late in the day; this one will only spark one or two showers after the evening drive. A slight batch of cooler air arrives for Saturday morning; lows will be in the 40s. High pressure moves in just in time for the weekend accompanied by dry and mild air; highs through Sunday will be in the low 70s. Our next chance at storms comes Tuesday and Wednesday.
