Storm Team Friday morning forecast (5/17/2013)

Posted

Friday morning starts a bit springier than previous days. A light south wind for the last 48 hours has made it stickier for you, dew points have risen from the 30s to the upper 50s; a noticeable change in humidity! This afternoon, highs will be well into the upper 80s with just a small chance at an isolated shower. It’s tough to have a pick of the weekend this time around, both days look equally summery. Saturday and Sunday will be around 90° in the afternoon with a few thunderstorms going. Keep this in mind, your rain chance is low, but you may be the one to see the random showers or storms; be prepared to dodge them for a few minutes. Bottom line, I wouldn’t cancel plans over the storms in the forecast. Next week will be nothing if not consistent in the weather world. Highs will dance between 90° and 91° with a few storms possible each afternoon. Meanwhile, lows will be sticky in the low to mid 60s.

Be safe and have a great weekend!
