MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Sunny skies with lingering humidity will make Friday feel hot. Expect afternoon temperatures to reach mid 90s across inland cities/towns. Along the coast, expect highs near 90 degrees. As per usual, with the moisture, temperatures will feel more like the triple digits. Rain coverage will remain isolated through the afternoon (30% coverage) with highest chances after lunchtime. Overnight lows into Saturday morning will likely be mild with low to mid 70s and upper 70s near the coast.
The weekend is expected to be similar, but drier in terms of rain coverage. A dry slot of air is expected to intrude, helping to allow more sunny skies to dominate Saturday and Sunday. Rain coverage is expected to be minimal, with 20% coverage. More sunlight means more heat expected with highs in the mid 90s, closing in on the upper 90s.
