MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- An arctic dose of air continues to infiltrate the southeastern U.S. Temperatures will be much cooler than average for both lows and highs today and Saturday.
For today, lower to mid 50s are expected for highs, even with sunshine expected to dominate after lunch. North winds will be persistent, making it feel even colder than what the actual air temperature is. Lows tonight into Saturday morning, are forecast to drop to at or just below freezing, with "feels-like" temperatures in the mid to upper 20s!
Saturday afternoon will feature a slight warm-up, but highs are once again forecast to stay below 60 degrees. Sunny skies will continue to persist, but that will do little to help influence further heating.
Sunday into the new work week will feature warming, with Sunday highs in the upper 60s, and Monday-Wednesday highs in the 70s. Our next rain chance will return by Monday-Wednesday as a new storm system out west pushes into the region.
