MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The dry air oasis is disappearing, now that southerly winds are resuming.  Moisture is increasing, and cloud cover has also spread itself in parts of the region.  Despite these, rain chances this evening remain very low, only in an isolated case near the eastern Big Bend coast and along and near I-75 in north Florida.  Scattered cloudiness will remain overnight, and lows will be near average in the lower 70s.  Saturday will be partly cloudy to partly sunny, with a split rain chance pattern.  Higher rain and thunderstorm chances will exist near the tri-state region and points northwestward, while lesser chances are placed in the southeast Big Bend.  Highs will range from the upper 80s to mid 90s, depending on the amounts of cloud cover experienced.  A wetter-than-usual pattern appears for the beginning of next week as a disturbance in the Deep South keeps the local area’s weather unsettled and generally damp.
