TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- We've got another hot April day on tap for tomorrow as a high pressure sitting to our east is still dominating our weather pattern. As we move into Sunday, an approaching cold front will help push the high pressure away, thus changing our weather pattern, and allowing for some much needed rain.
Tonight, skies are expected to clear, yet again, with lows falling close to 60 degrees. Winds will be light and variable through the night.
Saturday will be pretty identical to what we've seen all week...sunny and cool morning followed by a cloudier and hot afternoon. Daytime highs will reach in the mid 80s for the coastal cities, and upper 80s for everyone else. There is a small (less than 20 percent) chance of an afternoon shower, but that's about it. Saturday night, skies will stay partly cloudy with lows in the mid 60s.
Moving into Sunday, skies will start partly cloudy, but become even cloudier throughout the day. Highs will be cooler, only warming into the lower and mid 80s. As previously mentioned, we've got a cold front that is forecast to pass in the evening. This will bring much needed rain, and even a rumble of thunder or two to us. For Sunday night, expect lows in the mid 50s with a few scattered showers.
