MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The weekend weather pattern will feature seabreeze-triggered thunderstorms for the afternoons near the coastal locations and a slightly drier trend for many inland sections. Rain coverage will favor the Big Bend region, primarily in the mid- to late-afternoon hours, with spotty downpours and frequent lightning. Only isolated activity is forecast along and north of the state line. An upper low may approach from the northeast Sunday and Monday which could further reduce rain opportunities for interior areas. Lows tonight and Saturday night will dip into the low to mid 70s, and highs will range from the low 90s coast to upper 90s inland and in areas where the sun will be more dominant. In general, scattered thunderstorm chances remain through the middle of next week, with perhaps an enhancement in the drier spell in about a week from now.
