MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Upper-level high pressure will keep the first half of the weekend rather hot, and the second half almost as hot. The best chances to have limited rain impacts will be Saturday, as the ridge will be at its strongest point. An isolated stray shower or storm is possible in the Suwannee Valley, then an increase in scattered storm development is projected for Sunday as the high-pressure mechanisms weaken and a modest disturbance approaches from the northeast. Lows tonight will be in the low and mid 70s with a clearer sky, which turns partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs will range from the low 90s at the coast to near 100° for some inland areas. As rain chances and coverage increase in general next week, temperatures will return to near average levels.
