MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Clear conditions with less wind and a cold air mass over the region will equate to a very cold start to the weekend.  A light freeze is likely in many areas away from the coast Saturday morning with lows reaching the upper 20s to low 30s.  Immediate coastal areas will be slightly warmer.  An official Freeze Warning is in effect some counties generally east of the Suwannee River, though many locations outside the warning zone will experience at least a couple of hours at or below 32°.  Winds over the weekend will transition to the east, which will usher in a warming trend.  Saturday afternoon will be sunny and cool with highs approaching 60°, then more clouds mix in the sky Sunday with highs closer to 70°.  Moisture increases early next week, and a series of nearby disturbances will produce periods of shower and storm chances along with warmer-than-average temperatures.
