MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
No significant changes are expected in the weather pattern for most of the weekend, especially Saturday. Sunshine will blend in with considerable cloudiness for most of the day, but the bulk of the shower and storm action will hold off until mid-afternoon. Once they form, showers and thunderstorms will likely move in a northwesterly fashion, and a couple of the storms may contain heavy rain, gusty winds, along with the common lightning hazard. It’ll be very humid and mild overnight with lows around 70°, and Saturday’s highs may top out in the upper 80s to around 90°. Sunday will also feature rain coverage reaching 60% of the area, but a weak cold front will contribute to the rain production. The front will draw in some drier air, reducing rain chances for early next week.
