MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Nature will pull a trick on folks late tonight who are not expecting a blast of howling winds and cold, wintry air. Halloween evening will contain mostly clear to partly cloudy skies as temperatures fall from around 70° in the early evening to the upper 50s by midnight. The atmosphere is dry, so rain is not anticipated. However, the clouds are being produced by the next cold front that will swing through overnight and cause a quick and sustained increase in northwest winds early in the morning through most of Saturday. Those winds will transport more dry air and very cold air from the Canadian provinces, but the sky should be mainly sunny. Highs will suffer by staying in the upper 50s to near 60° for some. Sunday and Monday morning lows will drop into the 30s, with frost possible on Monday. Temperatures will progressively warm through the rest of next week.
