MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The evening will be quiet, mild, and mainly uneventful weather-wise, with a high-pressure system over parts of the Southeast.  It is causing a land breeze from the northeast and east, which will keep rain chances tonight to zero.  Winds will quickly shift around to the south and southwest tomorrow morning in advance of a vigorous disturbance which will replace the high and trigger areas of rain and active thunderstorms.  South Georgia will be more susceptible to individual storms that may produce damaging winds by tomorrow afternoon, while less numerous showers and storms may cross south of the state line.  Lows tonight will reach the mid 60s.  Highs will range from the lower 80s interior south Georgia to mid and upper 80s in the Suwannee River valley.  A drier stretch begins Sunday with only isolated leftover showers and storms.  Rain coverage ramps up again by Tuesday.
