MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Storms have been on the increase as the sea breeze kicked in Friday afternoon. As we advance into the weekend, the coverage for showers and storms will gradually increase as the front stalled to our south slowly but surely drifts back to the north, helping to reinforce winds from the humid air of the Gulf. Lows Friday night into Saturday morning will range in the lower to mid 70s with upper 70s near the Big Bend coast. Daytime highs will range in the lower to mid 90s along inland communities. Coastal areas Saturday afternoon will likely see highs near 90 or below. Rain coverage will be at 30% as the front moves north. As we advance into Sunday afternoon and the beginning of the work week, the rain coverage will increase as a new disturbance out west develops and begins to increase moisture levels at the surface, prompting higher rain coverage throughout the week (50-60%) and daytime highs in the lower 90s.
